Claude AI in the UAE and Saudi Arabia: Availability, Plans, Prices and Company Setup

Roll out Claude to your team in 30 days: a setup guide for UAE and Saudi companies

Claude is available to companies in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and most teams should start on the Team plan: 2 to 150 seats at US$20 per seat per month on annual billing. A proper setup takes about 30 days: pick the plan, set the admin rules, connect your tools, write your skills, then train your people.

Key takeaways

  • Anthropic lists the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia among the countries where both Claude.ai and the API are offered. Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman are on the same list.
  • As of October 2026, a Team plan Standard seat costs US$20 per month on annual billing, or US$25 billed monthly. A Premium seat costs US$100, or US$125 billed monthly, and gives five times the usage.
  • The Enterprise plan is US$20 per seat per month, billed annually, plus usage charged at API rates. It adds SCIM, audit logs, role-based access and custom data retention.
  • On Team and Enterprise plans, your content is not used for model training by default.
  • UAE and Saudi data protection laws restrict sending personal data abroad without safeguards, so decide what staff may put into any AI tool before you roll it out.
Three key takeaways from the Virtuloom guide: Claude AI in the UAE and Saudi Arabia: Availability, Plans, Prices and Company Setup
Key takeaways from this guide.

Is Claude available in the UAE and Saudi Arabia?

Yes. Anthropic publishes a list of supported countries for Claude.ai and for the API, and the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia are on both. So are Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. A company in Dubai or Riyadh can sign up directly, pay by card and add its team without a reseller.

Which Claude plan should a company pick?

Pick Team unless you already know you need Enterprise controls. The plans below are from Anthropic’s pricing page as of October 2026. Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax.

Plan Who it suits Price Admin and security
Pro One person US$17 a month on the annual plan, US$20 billed monthly A personal account. No central billing or admin. Model training is an opt-out setting.
Team 2 to 150 people Standard seat US$20, Premium seat US$100, per month on annual billing Central billing, single sign-on, admin control of connectors, skills shared across the organization. No model training on your content by default.
Enterprise Larger or regulated companies US$20 per seat per month, billed annually, plus usage at API rates Everything in Team, plus SCIM, audit logs, role-based access, a compliance API, custom data retention and IP allowlisting.

The common mistake is to let everyone buy a personal Pro account on a company card. The work then lives in personal accounts, nobody can see or manage usage, and when a person leaves, their projects leave with them. A Team plan fixes all three.

What does it cost for a 20-person company?

About US$4,800 a year if everyone is on a Standard seat. This is simple arithmetic from the list prices above, not a quote.

Setup Monthly Yearly Roughly, in local currency
20 Standard seats, annual billing US$400 US$4,800 AED 17,600 or SAR 18,000
16 Standard and 4 Premium seats, annual billing US$720 US$8,640 AED 31,700 or SAR 32,400

Start everyone on Standard. After a month, the usage report shows who keeps hitting the limit, and only those people need a Premium seat. You can mix seat types on one plan.

What does a 30-day rollout look like?

Four weeks, one job per week. This is the order we recommend for a company of 5 to 50 people.

  1. Week 1: decide and set the rules. Choose the plan and name one owner. Write a one-page policy: what data may go into Claude, what may not, and who approves new connectors.
  2. Week 2: configure. Create the organization, verify your domain, switch on single sign-on and set the organization instructions. Invite a pilot group of five to ten people from different teams.
  3. Week 3: build. Create a project for each team with its reference documents. Write three to five skills for work that repeats: a proposal, a monthly report, a client reply. Connect the tools the pilot group needs, with the least access that does the job.
  4. Week 4: train and measure. Run a one-hour session per team using their own real tasks. Collect the prompts that worked. Check usage, then invite everyone else.

What are connectors and skills?

Connectors let Claude read from, and act in, the tools your company already uses, such as shared drives, email and a CRM. On the Team plan an admin decides which connectors are allowed, so staff cannot attach a tool the company has not approved. Connectors, skills and projects are easy to mix up, so we have set out which of the three to use when.

Skills are saved instructions for a task you do again and again. A skill holds your format, your rules and your examples, so the tenth proposal looks like the first. Team and Enterprise plans can deploy a skill to the whole organization. This is where most of the value of a setup sits: the plan gives people access, the skills make the output yours. If you want to write one yourself, our guide on how to write a Claude Skill covers the frontmatter rules and a worked example.

What do UAE and Saudi data rules mean for an AI rollout?

They mean you set data rules before you invite the team. The UAE has Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the protection of personal data, with its own rules on transfers outside the country, and the DIFC and ADGM free zones have separate data protection laws. Saudi Arabia has the Personal Data Protection Law, supervised by SDAIA, with a dedicated regulation on transferring personal data outside the Kingdom.

In practice:

  • Sort your data into three groups: free to use, use with care, never paste. Customer identity documents, health data and payroll belong in the last group unless your legal adviser has cleared it.
  • Use a business plan, not personal accounts. Team and Enterprise are not used for model training by default, and Enterprise adds custom retention controls.
  • Give connectors the narrowest access that works, and review it every quarter.

This is a practical summary, not legal advice. If you handle personal data at scale, ask a data protection lawyer before the rollout.

What goes wrong most often?

  • No owner. Nobody is responsible, so nothing is configured and usage fades after two weeks.
  • No data rules. Staff either paste everything or are afraid to use it at all.
  • Everything connected on day one. Start with one or two tools and add more when a team asks.
  • No training. People try it once on a vague question, get a vague answer and stop.

How Virtuloom helps

Virtuloom sets up Claude for companies in the UAE and Saudi Arabia: plan and seat choice, admin and single sign-on setup, connectors, custom skills built around your repeat work, and staff training in English or Arabic. We are an independent implementer, so you buy Claude directly from Anthropic and we do the setup. When a task should run without a person, we build it as an AI agent or an automation instead. Our guide to what an AI agent costs in the UAE explains the difference in budget.

Connectors are built on an open standard. Read MCP explained for business owners to see how Claude connects to your CRM, files and WhatsApp.

Frequently asked questions

Is Claude available in the UAE and Saudi Arabia?

Yes. Anthropic’s supported countries list includes the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia for both Claude.ai and the API, along with Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. Companies in these countries can sign up and pay directly.

How much does Claude cost for a team?

As of October 2026, a Team plan Standard seat is US$20 per month on annual billing or US$25 billed monthly. A Premium seat is US$100, or US$125 billed monthly, with five times the usage. The plan covers 2 to 150 people and prices exclude tax.

Does Anthropic train its models on our company data?

Not by default on business plans. Anthropic’s pricing page states that Team and Enterprise plans have no model training on your content by default. On individual plans, model training is shown as an opt-out setting, which is one more reason to move staff onto a company plan.

Do we need the Enterprise plan?

Only if you need its extra controls: SCIM user provisioning, audit logs, role-based access, a compliance API, custom data retention or IP allowlisting. The Team plan already includes single sign-on, central billing and admin control of connectors, which is enough for most small and mid-size companies.

How long does it take to set up Claude for a company?

About 30 days for a company of 5 to 50 people: one week to choose the plan and set data rules, one to configure, one to build projects, skills and connectors, and one to train the teams and review usage.

Can Claude connect to the tools we already use?

Yes, through connectors, and on business plans an admin controls which ones are allowed. Start with one or two tools, give them the narrowest access that does the job, and add more when a team has a clear use for them.
